T minus 20 days ...

I just saw Janet at the Library and we both said the same thing 20 days before we go!!  I am so excited to be going on this trip and to be sharing these once in a life time memories with you wonderful ladies (especially Michaela).  Today Michaela and I checked in with our bank and made sure they knew when and where we were going (check that off the list) and then went to Walgreen's to pick up a few items for the trip.  It seems so long ago you girls were setting your goals for the awards you had to complete and now we are counting down the days.  Thanks for setting this blog up for the Troops family and friends it will be nice that they will be able to follow us and know what we are doing.

Greetings, All --  It's 21 days to Europe!  I have ordered the British pounds, and they are waiting for me at the bank.  I shall snag them on Friday and distribute them to the parents at our meeting on the 4th.  It's stuff like this that makes the trip seem a little more real than the fairy tale it can feel like sometimes.  I marvel every day that I get to make this trip with such wonderful people.  I've been to London (in 2002) and Rome (this past February), and both places will be different just because of the company I'm keeping and the history we've had together.  And the new stuff I get to see?!  Well, I'm so excited about all that I could just burst!  The next three weeks are sure to fly ... and then it's our turn!
