Intro

Troop 264 started in 2001. Keeping girls interested in Girl Scouts isn't any easy task with all the extra-curricular options available today. We also wanted to have a few girls earn their Bronze, Silver & Gold Awards. So, the crazy troop leader (me), told the girls if they completed their Gold Awards, I would take them to Europe or any other country they wanted to go to. I think this was in 2002 or 2003. So, we've been planning this trip for a very long time. We started to save the money the girls earned from each box of cookies in an account for each girl. We've paid a large portion of this trip buy selling cookies, not to mention a few brat sales! We're now at our 30 day count down! This blog will be a great way for us to count down to this amazing trip and to keep our friends and family posted on our progress while we're in Europe!
